“Hate” and “Monocle Sessions”

These have been my newest releases this year.

“Hate” is a song written by my good friend Brian Baird. It’s a novelty and not really as serious as the title suggests. I think Alferd Packerd would have loved it!

“Monocle Sessions” is my largest compilation album, yet. The sessions for that album were quite extensive. It’s also the largest release on my (and my brother’s) label Suitable For Framing Records.

New Studio! New Recordings!

Bryan Studio 2015

We finally got the new studio up and running.  I recorded some new demos of songs for my next album.  Awesome!

I’m so glad that we finally got the studio going after all the hard work we put into it.  We worked for several months and now we finally have something we can be proud of.

For your information, here is the list of the new songs I recorded:

“Christine” (written by Bryan Harwell)

“Wake Up” (written by Phil Harwell)

“Listen To The Mockingbird” (written by Septimus Winner and Richard Milburn)

“Another End To Another Bend In The Road” (written by Bryan Harwell)

That’s all for now.  Keep listening!

I Need A Break

Well, actually, that’s the title of one of my latest songs. I’m currently getting my latest songs together for the recording of my next album. I’m hoping to get everything officially underway by next month. Special thanks to everyone who has been following my career. Keep listening! Musical Things

I’ve been working on some various musical and recording projects, lately. I’ve been attending songwriter’s meetings in Elkmont, Alabama. These meetings help with writing “Nashville Hits” and also help with how to pitch songs to artists and labels. Very enjoyable.

I’ve recorded some a cappella gospel music. It’s a monumental project featuring lots and lots of songs. This will not be released any time soon, but has for me, personally, been very uplifting in my spiritual life.

“The Dilapidated Hat Tapes” will have some more entries very soon. I’ve had to deal with some equipment failure and after those issues are hammered out, more videos will appear.

I’m in the planning stages for the recording of my next album entitled “Monocle.” This one will be in sort of the tradition of “Work” with many of the themes from my conceptual continuity, as previously heard on “Work.”

I’d like to play live more, but I just haven’t had the time. I guess I should make time, but real life work at a major corporation (which I generally despise) has kept me from that. The job is merely for survival purposes until I’m bigger than The Beatles (whether by popularity or weight).
